Paper skeleton

This was made all in one piece, but then I wasn't happy with it and changed his hands, and stuck on an extra piece for the pelvis and breastbone. I am working on a pattern to be all from one piece though, somehow that is much more satisfying.


I think it's fair to say this blog is not daily anymore, nowhere near. I do hope to post more often from now on but I dont think I can pretend it's going to be daily, life has gotten too busy. I spose that's a good thing!

Best doll ever

Our stall at the art junky fair

zines, toys, stickers, cards, paintings, prints, badges, jewellery, books, bags... We made a lot of stuff between us. It was a big success, many people said ours was the best stall there. Yesss.

No kill massive

All the animals I made for the craft fair, packaged up. Only the goat and the mustard coloured antelope are left now!

Hamster safari

In progress. Tomorrow I'm setting them all up for hamster to run through. Might make a jeep for her to ride around in. I've never been on a Safari but I'd like to see all these animals hanging out together one day.

I've been doing a ceramics class lately.

radiator dream

It made me so uncomfortable drawing as scratchily as this. It was drawn with a whittled stick that really didn't hold the ink. A good exercise I guess.

Those last bits came together

Into this little theatre style set. I used to make these when I was a kid. It's a bit wonky but it was just an experiment really.
